Here is an unique idea for birthday flowers. A long time ago a friend of mine told me about a birthday tradition celebrated in her family and it is something I'd like to share with you. Her husband did something very special for her whenever one of their children celebrated a birthday.....he gave her flowers!

She was so surprised when he first did it. (Pleasantly surprised, of course!) He explained to her that it was his way of honoring her for bringing their children into the world and he just wanted to do something special to show how much it meant to him.
It is now a tradition in their home.

I feel it is such a loving way to show his children how important both they and their mother are in his life. I wanted to pass this idea on because it is my hope that this will become a tradition in other homes as well!
